Thanks to the generosity our donors and Corporate Sponsors, Ballet of York County is able to continue a tradition of artistic excellence in classical ballet and community arts education that began in 1978.

Ballet of York County, a 501.c3 nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, was formed in 2020 after the School of Ballet and York County Ballet were forced to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the financial assistance provided through sponsorships, Ballet of York County has been able to begin, continue, and grow during these difficult economic times, establishing our new home studio in late 2021. Sponsorships enable us to provide opportunities for our community to foster a connection to the arts, through educational dance instruction, as well as live arts performances, such as The Nutcracker and original spring productions. For our 2022-23 season we are again able to offer a free performance for local Title I school students, many of whom may not otherwise have the opportunity to see a ballet or live theatrical performance. We firmly believe that community caring is an important element of arts education. Even with rising costs, we are determined to make performing arts accessible and affordable for our community.
