Ballet of York County Studio 420 Dave Lyle Blvd, Rock Hill SC

This free series will introduce children to the world of dance, music, arts and literature through storytelling, movement and hands-on activities!

Each hour-long class will begin with a story time by a librarian from the York County Library. Following the story time, participants will have an opportunity to dance and move based on the theme of the class with BYC’s Artistic Director, Leslie Cooper. Each class will conclude with a themed craft. Participants and their caregivers will have the opportunity to check out picture books and/or sign up for library cards. Come and join the fun!

Please note:

  • There is no cost for this event! It is free to the public.

  • This event is geared towards children 3-6 years old along with their parent/guardian. Parent/Guardian must be in attendance along with their child for the duration of the event.

  • Each session is limited to 12 spaces to ensure a high quality experience for each participant.

  • Registration is required to reserve your spot. Each child in attendance must be registered.
